Adding to this because of @illogicalilse‘s tags “
#*steeples fingers in-front of face*#i’ve read fanfiction longer than all of these

“Over 150,000 words = Epic Fanfiction”

Yeah, what do you call 400k?

Insanity

@devcon03 I remember you were wondering about this.

friendly reminder that fanfic authors write full length novels for free, and all most of us ask in return is exposure in the form of recommendations, reblogs, and feedback

Not just full length novels, but full-length BOOK SERIES.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stones was 76,944 words.

Eragon was 157k words

The Hobbit was 95,022.words (and yes, those 22 at the end are very important words~)

Anyway, please PLEASE review, comment, and share the fanfictions you like.

These authors are, for free, giving you hours and hours and hours of entertainment.

Thank them.

The longest fic I have read is Sass by @bewareofchris and tbh Insane doesn’t even covers it. Word count? Oh you know, only 624,069!!

@somewhereapart

@buoyantsaturn we were just talking about this

its honestly insane such little credit some authors get, especially fanfiction authors

Sanctioned is just a novel I’m cry 😭❤️

Ashes hit 80k words wtf

V&H and bite me to the bone are technically novels. 😀

I’ve read countless mindblowing fics before, fics that would put movie scripts on shame, fics that give me feels and pain and a great connection to reality that simply outstand some of the best selling novels out there, the same fics that were written by amateur authors that did it all for free with humble passion while still living their lives out there, making a living by different jobs.

All those selfless and passionate and beautiful talented people ask back are honest comments, feedback, a simple recognition of their loves to what they do because each word they write literally comes out from their hearts.

Be thankful for their works guys.
