yikes

he’s worried because his fame and the public response. he’s not worried about the real women that ‘he chased’ and probably made uncomfortable. too transparent & it shows that he didnt understood anything lmao.

not to mention he dated a 19 year old recently…like of course he’s afraid of the MeToo movement

any man that says he’s scared to do anything for fear of being called a rapist 100% has predatory leanings and should probably die

So if a man was afraid of hitting on a convicted false accuser who accused the last guy who got involved with her, he’s just a predator?

Women are perfect creatures who never make mistakes, and there’s no ambiguity or subjectivity in social interactions at all? No woman has ever mistakenly accused a man of some form of sexual misconduct, ever, because she made incorrect assumptions about his intent?

Only 2-10% of rape accusations are estimated to be false, and only 6 out of 1000 rapists will even be incarcerated so if you think a rape accusation (be it true or false) will actually ever really impact a man’s life when only 11 Out Of those 1000 will be referred to prosecutors and then only 7 will get a felony conviction. (Like do some bare minimum of reading on the RAINN website lol)

I have literally seen a man get out of any prison time in exchange for 13 years probation after admitting to raping his daughter for 17 years. Even actually admitting to being a rapist doesn’t matter (except he can’t be near schools but forgive me I don’t fucking care), so yea I don’t trust men whose main priority is ‘but what if I’m called a rapist :(‘ when 2 Out Of 3 assaults go unreported because they don’t trust cops to help them and fear retaliation (and 7% Of unreporting survivors don’t report so they DONT get their RAPIST IN TROUBLE).

But let’s talk about in depth studies surrounding false rape claims!

What the police label a ‘false allegation’ is up to the cop’s personal discretion and is NOT always applied correctly. In the Philadelphia sexual assault victim study from 72-75, when they looked at 705 cases that had both police and social worker reports they found that cops (who used the criteria of: If they thought it was false based on evidence or if they were skeptical of the woman because she may have been drinking, an addict, or had prior sexual relations with her attacker, all of which is pretty unethical to do) classified 15% as unfounded meanwhile social workers only classified 3% as unfounded.

Then there is the 2005 British home office study where only 8.2% Of 2,643 cases reported to the police were classified as false, even then the cops violated their OWN RULES for what constituted a false allegation by judging based on skepticism about victims who were mentally ill, had some inconsistencies, or if they were drinking or using drugs. When the ACTUAL criteria was applied (where there is a clear and credible admission by the complainants, or where there are strong evidential grounds’) they found that in reality only 2.5% could be classified as false.

the American MAD study in 2008 that took data over an 18-24 month period, and that out of the 2,059 cases they looked at law enforcement marked 140 of them to be ‘baseless/unfounded’ (elements of crime were not met, but not false according the UCR criteria) or ‘unfounded/false’ (based on investigative findings that crime did not occur). So even then, not all of that 6.8% can really be considered truly ‘false’.

Now from a paper published in 2010 called False Allegations Of Sexual Assault: An Analysis Of Ten Years Reported Cases (where you can source for yourself the above studies), they also talked about their ‘current’ study. In this study, a major college allowed access to cases of every sexual assault reported to the department over 10 years (1998-2007). They created the coding system of:

false report (applying IACP guidelines and verified through thorough investigation)

Case did not proceed (if the case did not result in a referral for prosecution because victim withdrew, insufficient evidence, or the victim was unable to ID the perp, or the incident was mislabeled which mean there was a truthful account but did not meet legal requirements of sexual assault)

Case proceeded (if the case resulted in a referral for prosecution or disciplinary action or administrative action by university)

Insufficient info (applied if a report lacked basic info I.e. victim nor perp were identified or insufficient info to assign a category).

Out of the 136 reports they analyzed: 8 were coded false, 61 did not proceed, 48 were referred for prosecution, and 19 contained insufficient information.

I will admit, this info may be incorrect but that’s because it’s estimated that between 64% and 96% of survivors DONT report (source in the aforementioned paper). Studies in the same paper show that the stereotype that women are lying HURTS actual victims. Quote from the paper:

When Law enforcement believes that half or more of rape reports are fabricated (Jordan, 2004), their approach to victims can easily become more akin to hostile interrogation than fact finding (IACP, 2005b).

So from the studies I have seen and statistics I have seen, and ACTUALLY FALSE rape accusation is rather rare. But also from what I have seen in real life living in an area with a high rate of sexual assault (a girl was raped in the locker room at my high school at knife point on camera, rapist had no actions. My friend’s dad who served maybe 2 years before given 12 years parole, etc), a rape accusation does nothing to a man’s stance. Weinstein has countless complaints made against him and nothing happened, Donald trump has numerous sexual assault cases and if you don’t believe them a WELL documented habit of going into teenage pageant changing rooms to look at girls and people elected him president.

If people believed rape victims you MIGHT have a point, but if a man is vocally concerned about being accused of rape that makes me highly suspicious because what kind of man needs to run around going ‘im so scared someone will call me a rapist’ during a time where sexual predators in Hollywood are being held accountable. A better question is how fucking Dumb is your hypothetical man that he pursues a woman who (I’m assuming) has been confirmed to make false rape accusations? But to summarize:
